Week Seven Highlights

Boys Minors

Raptors 35, New Berlin Police Cavaliers 12: Stephen Halusan scored 15 points and Ben Schaefer 12 as the Raptors improved to 6-1. Matt Schwemmer scored four points, and Dominick Battistini and Kevin Trecek added baskets.The rest of the team played great defense and contributed assists in the win.

Wizards 25, Spurs 12: The Wizards prevailed after trailing through three periods. Their entire team exhibited tenacious defense, unselfish passing and aggressive play. Adam Lancaster and Joey Jicha were active on the offensive boards. Five players scored for the Wizards.

Girls Minors

Lakers 24, HRMB Knicks 4: The victory was accomplished with a team effort on offense. Annabelle Smith led the Lakers with 12 points. Gabby Steidl had four assists, and Molly Austad made eight steals.

Week Six Highlights

Boys Minors

New Berlin Police Cavaliers 28, Wizards 36: The Wizards pulled out a double-overtime victory. to Tyler Torosian had his best game of the season, pulling down six rebounds, grabbing a steal and scoring at a key point in the game.Jack Von Rueden had his best defensive game of the season. he entire team contributed to the win.

Tri-City Bank Bobcats 28, Bucks 25: Matt Lalor and Lucas Makowski led the way to victory for the Bobcats with eight points each. Lalor made two spectacular baskets to put the Bobcats ahead, and tough team defense sealed the win.

Raptors 30, Spurs 17: The Raptors' Stephen Halusan scored 14 points to pace his team to victory.Ben Schaefer scored eight points and helped Matt Schwemmer keep the Spurs' best players at bay. Dominick Battistini and Alex Weiner added two baskets each for the Raptors.The rest of the team did a great job on defense as their team improved to 5-1.

Week Five Highlights

Boys Minors

Tri-City Bank Bobcats 21, New Berlin Fire Rockets 15: Greg Jackson led the way for the Bobcats with 10 points and Lucas Makowski added seven. Makowski sank two shots to ice the game midway through the last period.

Wizards 38, Supersonics 10: The Wizards played a strong defensive game and every member of the team contributed one or more baskets. o Adam Lancaster, Bryce Miller, Erik Petersen, Jack VonRueden, Jon Kryszewski, Joseph Jicha, Kyle Kraninger and Tyler Torosian played well together.

Raptors 24, Timberwolves 1: The Raptors' tough defense kept a pesky Timberwolves team at bay. Zach Engsberg provided strong rebounding and had two putbacks. Ben Schaefer scored in double figures, and he and Matt Schwemmer kept the T-wolves on their heels with fast-paced play. Dominick Battistini and Alex Weiner added baskets for the Raptors. Ryan Buchholz, Jordan Korom, Kevin Trecek and Cooper Waring contributed to the stingy defense.

Girls Minors

NB Fire Pistons 17, Smith Barney Bulls 16: A balanced offensive effort and continued defensive effort propelled the Pistons.

Week Four Highlights

Boys Minors

Wizards 38, Pure Air Ventilation Magic 4: The Wizards broke open what was a close game through two periods.Aggressive team defense and movement on offense was the difference. Adam Lancaster, Alex Underwood, Bryce Miler, Jack Von Rueden, Jon Kryszewski, Joey Jicia, Kyle Kraninger and Tyler Torosian played for the winners.

Tri-City Bank Bobcats 30, 76ers 12: Greg Jackson led the way for the Bobcats with 13 points, and Boden Saikie added eight. Defensive hustle by Brian Roznik and Evan Muchenberger helped stop the 76ers.

Girls Minors

New Berlin Fire Pistons 14, Save Your Back Salt Bobcats 12: Sammie Lundin led the scoring with eight points. The defense, led by Hannah Quimby and Kayla Olstisnke, came up big in the later stages of the game.
