Eisenhower youth girls basketball camp approaching

The New Berlin Eisenhower Girls Basketball program is offering its Lion Cub Basketball Camp, a fundamental camp exclusively for first- and second-grade girls in March.

This four-day camp will be held at Elmwood School, on March 17, 23, 29 and 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each date.

All ability levels are welcomed to the camp, which will be facilitated by Eisenhower head coach Gary Schmidt, junior varsity coach Tom Vanderhoef, Eisenhower staff members and the Lions players. All girls will receive fundamental instruction on all aspects of the game.

The cost is $40 per player and includes a T-shirt.

Registration forms are available at nbps.k12.wi.us, or mail your shirt size and a check made out to Eisenhower Girls Basketball, to IKE Girls Basketball Boosters, c/o Borkenhagen, 4250 S. Regal Manor Dr., New Berlin, WI 53151.

New Berlin golf course seeking players for league

The Preserve at Deer Creek will hold an organizational meeting for men and women interested in joining the course's senior golf league.

The meeting is 9:30 a.m. March 31. The league starts in April and plays Wednesday mornings.
